Best Shaving Cream for Men

Once you find a brush you like, the next challenge is finding a cream that is:

Proraso’s shaving soap in a bowl does all the above better than any other brand of shaving cream we have tried while also adding the benefit of never having to use a separate container or the palm of your hand to work up a lather.

The latter (no pun intended) is really clutch because it really reduces the messiness and waste of having to use a cream in a bottle. Before I switched to this shaving soap in a bowl, I noticed that while using a tube I would always squeeze out more than I needed and the remainder would sometimes cake up and be hard to drain. No such issues anymore since I apply my brush directly to the bowl itself.

Proraso makes it in 3 different types including it’s standard version (green), sensitive skin version (white) and moisturizing/sandalwood version (maroon). I have tested them all and did not notice much of a difference amongst the three. I personally enjoy the smell of sandalwood which is why that has become my go-to. But any one will do.
