Best Golf Glove

As of June 2020

THE JOAT'S Advice

The 90-day average price as of 8/31/2020 on Amazon is $32.00, according to data from Keepa. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.

Price rarely fluctuates on Amazon so buy when ready. They’re under $30 on the Finger Ten website which is also #paypalfriendly and has free shipping over $10. Amazon is obviously more convenient but the website is a little cheaper and benefits the retailer directly.

what we like

  • Best for those: Looking for a durable, long lasting golf glove for cheap. (If you are looking for a unique, flashy, high quality leather glove, we recommend giving Asher a look)
  • These things last forever – I’m not exaggerating too. I have to almost set reminders in my phone to change gloves every 3-6 months for cleanliness reasons (not because they’ve gone bad)
  • Extremely comfortable
  • Good grip
  • All-weather – Work really well in pouring down rain or on a hot sweaty day
  • Dirt cheap – A 6 pack is only $33 and literally last years
  • The black/gray colors mask any dirt too so they always look brand new

keep in mind

  • Not quite as soft as the typical cabretta leather gloves. But the durability of these means I haven’t even thought about my glove for years which frees me up to focus on other, more important things, like not duck hooking my opening drive. These are a true #nobrainer for us
  • Not available in white

review

I play a lot of golf (sick brag) so I have tested an absurd amount of golf gloves over the years (by force, not by choice). If you’ve ever owned one you know how quickly the majority of them shrivel up and die at the first contact of water or dirt. At $10-20/each, it becomes extremely annoying (and costly) having to constantly replace your glove or be forced to use one that is dirty or torn. That Dave Chappelle meme where you’re totally down to blow $50 on alcohol when the cart lady shows up but shudder at the thought of spending $15 on a new glove is so accurate.

Why is that? It’s because most gloves feel like you are lighting money on fire when you buy them. The leather is so sensitive that you know they will only last a few weeks and then you have to do this all over again. I did this song and dance for years until I finally stumbled upon these Finger Ten gloves on Amazon. These solved all my problems and I cannot believe these aren’t even more popular by now. I got a huge contingent at my golf course exclusively using these Finger Ten gloves now.

The durability alone is enough to make the Finger Ten our top choice for best golf glove. When you factor in the comfort, grip, all-weather performance and price it becomes a #nobrainer. Buy a 6-pack for yourself and you are set for at least the next 2 years. Or split one with a fellow golfer. You can’t go wrong either way.

Sizing Tips & FAQs

Which hand glove should I buy?

If you’re a righty, buy a lefty glove. If you’re a lefty, buy a righty glove

How long do they last?

Honestly…as long as you want them to. Feel free to get a friend or two together if you want to split a 6-pack of these

What are they made out of?

Instead of the typical cabretta leather you see with most glove manufacturers, these are made out of a performance mesh material.

Does Finger Ten make a typical white cabretta style leather glove?

They do (link here) and they’re definitely lower priced versus comparable cabretta leather gloves. But you don’t get the same durability the RainGrip ones offer

Asher Gloves

Man, Asher makes some awesome looking gloves (among other golf gear). If you’re looking for a good gift to give your friend/partner these are an excellent choice since they come in a wide variety of designs and colors. Obviously they are more expensive and will not match the durability of Finger Ten’s, but if you are looking to stand out on the course with a high quality leather gloves, look no further

Footjoy WeatherSof

If you are a long-time golfer, you have undoubtedly bought like 30 of these over your career. They feel amazing on day 1 (and sometimes day 2). But they get turned into a shriveled, dirty mess within weeks.
